Summary
Paperlark has no account. The files, photos, web pages and text you print stay on your iPhone and are not uploaded to our servers.
What the app uses
Photos you pick (through the system picker, the app does not get access to your library); files you open from Files or Share; the camera, only when you scan a page to print a copy; the local network, only to find printers on your Wi-Fi and to contact a printer whose IP address you enter; web addresses you type, which are loaded from the website itself in order to print the page.
Printing
Documents are sent from your iPhone directly to your printer through the iOS printing service. We never receive them.
Analytics
Paperlark uses Firebase Analytics without the advertising identifier and without tracking across other companies' apps and websites. It records events such as opening the app, viewing the paywall, starting a purchase and finishing a print (only the type of source, for example PDF or photos), together with an anonymous app instance identifier, device model, iOS version, language and approximate region. It never records file names, document contents, web addresses or printer names. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics stays off until you allow it in the app. You can change this choice in the app at any time.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase or subscription exists, and, if analytics is allowed, anonymous purchase events used to measure our advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Analytics data is processed by Google as our service provider.
Children
Paperlark is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices
You can turn analytics off in the app, delete the app and its data at any time, or write to us with a privacy question.
